Mary Agnes Wolford, 89, of Cresaptown, passed away on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.
Born in Lonaconing on May 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Annie L. (Llewellyn) Beeman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollie Wolford, in 1982; brothers, Galen and Edison Beeman; and sisters, Iva Spiker and Leah Northcraft.
Mary was a 1946 graduate of Central High School in Lonaconing. Mary retired from Memorial Hospital where she was a cook for many years. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Cresaptown. Mary enjoyed traveling to West Virginia to the peach orchards and spending time at her second home in Augusta, W.Va.
Surviving Mary are her step-sons, Gary Wolford, Cresaptown, and Rick Wolford, Okla.; sisters, Althea Shaw, LaVale, Norma Brode, and husband, Paul, both of Lonaconing; and sister-in-law, Edna Beeman.
Family will receive friends at Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 15205 McMullen Highway SW, Cresaptown, on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, from 10 a.m. until noon.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at noon with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Malick Cemetery, Augusta, W.Va.
