Norma Lee Madero, 81, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday Oct. 7, 2017, at Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, Pa.
Born July 1, 1936, in Cumberland, Mrs. Madero was the daughter of the late Kenneth George Montgomery and Ethel (Sachs) Montgomery. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Madero Sr.
A graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1954, Norma also graduated from Catherman's Business School. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Many people may remember Norma from working at the Dairy Mart on Oldtown Road.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Vicki Burkett and husband, Timothy, Buffalo Mills, Pa., and her son, Robert Madero Jr. and wife, Catherine, Westernport. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brianna Madero and Henry Plummer, Amanda Madero and Jimmy Minnigh, Robert E. Madero III, Michelle Taylor and husband, Ian, Elyse LaRue, and Michael Deter and wife, Kelli, Matthew Burkett and wife, Ashley, Daniel Madero and wife, Brittany, Travis, Brooke, and Clara Madero; as well as 15 great grandchildren; and a half-sister, Catherine.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home P.A., 404 Decatur St. (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com), on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Pensyl officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
