Roger Allen Cutler, 67, of Nutter Fort, W.Va., and formerly of Grantsville, Md., passed away following a long illness on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at Salem Nursing and Convalescent Center, Salem, W.Va.
Born August 3, 1950, in Clearfield, Pa., he was the son of the late Allen C. and Audrey (Wilson) Cutler. He was also preceded in death by his twin brothers.
Roger began his career with the FBI in 1969, Washington, D.C., later working for Harbison-Walker Refractories, Grantsville, Guys Tire Shop, Grantsville, and was part owner of Western Maryland Glass and Glazing.
He coached Little League, was active with the Cub Scouts and was a member of the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela J. (Klotz) Cutler; two sons, Joshua (Amy) Cutler, Nutter Fort, and Jason Cutler, Fairmont, W.Va.; one grandson, whom he adored, Evan Daniel Cutler; two sisters, Terayl Johnson, Michigan, and Dawn Georg, Virginia Beach, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Baxter.
Mr. Cutler will be cremated as per his wishes, and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ingrid Chenoweth and the Rev. Linda Muhly officiating.
