Alfred Conrad Kamauff Jr. (Humpy) Obituary
Topeka, KS - It's with deep sadness that the family of Alfred "Humpy" Conrad Kamauff Jr. announces his falling asleep in death on Monday, April 13, 2026.
He was born Dec. 5, 1941, in Frostburg, Maryland to the late Alfred Conrad Kamauff Sr. and Charlotte Wade Kamauff.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Kamauff; children, Craig Kamauff (Pam), Tracey Felker, Michelle Standeford (Todd) and Doug Kamauff (Vicky); his siblings, Robert Kamauff, Alan Kamauff (Janet), Michael Kamauff (Margie) and Mary Kammauff (Chuck). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Cody Felker (Heather), Shayla Hitchins (Travis); as well as his great-grandchildren, Bryson, Brynlee, Bryleigh, Morgan and Everly; as well as many extended family that he loved dearly.
He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in May of 1973 and loved being part of the congregations in Frostburg and Topeka. He formed many lasting friendships with his spiritual brothers and sisters.
Al worked for Kelly Springfield in Cumberland, Md., until the plant closed and then transferred to the Goodyear Tire plant in Topeka, Kansas, in 1987.
Some years after his retirement, he began working at Calhoun's Jewelers and considered the staff his family. He loved going to work and keeping busy.
He was known for his love for people, his sense of humor, his love for basketball and car racing. He especially loved going to the beach and traveling to be with family in Maryland. He is most of all known for his loyal devotion to the "wife of his youth," Donna. They were inseparable.
We look forward to God's promise of the resurrection, when we can welcome him back to perfect life in that promised New World.
The family would like to thank all those near and far for their calls, texts, cards, visits, hugs, thoughtful gifts, and many prayers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 3 p.m. CST(4:00 PM EST), Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2701 SE Croco Rd, Topeka, KS.
