Ridgeley, West Virginia - Alice "Jeanie" Jean (Goss) Twigg, 77, of Ridgeley, W.Va., passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at her home.

Born October 19, 1948 in Cumberland, Md., Mrs. Twigg was the daughter of the late John Ralph Goss and Elizabeth Mae (Main) Goss. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Goss and wife Kathleen; and John Goss and wife Sally.

Jeanie was a graduate of Fort Hill High School Class of 1966. She worked as a GNA at various facilities in the area and was the manager of the Rainbow Shelter for the elderly, in which her sister Nancy, owned. Jeanie was also a sitter for many individuals over the years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed. She treasured her family the most.

Jeanie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph Roger Twigg; her children, Joy Heavner and husband Brian; Cylinda "Cindy" Rinehart and husband Colby; and Roger Twigg and wife Jessica; her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Justin Heavner and wife Emily; Austin Heavner and wife Lauren; and Tyler Heavner and wife Caitlyn; Cody Rinehart and fiancé Tessa; Logan and Hannah Rinehart; and Brady and Heidi Twigg; her great-grandchildren, her "babies," Hudson, Knox, Georgia, and Brooks; and her sister, Nancy Snyder and husband Rick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Floyd Rinehart officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
