Berlin, Pennsylvania - Alice V. Stevanus, 90, Berlin, Pa., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at Meadow View Nursing Center.

Born June 15, 1930 in Eckhart, she was the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Deal) Stevanus. She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Gertrude Hersch and Mildred Harbel; brother, John H. Stevanus; and special friend, Kenneth Snyder.

She is survived by nieces, Mary Margaret (Dale) Werner, Berlin, Deanna (Robert) Thompson, Meyersdale, Pa., Trudy (Scott) Landis, Berlin, and Beth (Chris) Vogan, Hanover; nephews, Charles (Nancy) Harbel, Atlanta, Ga., and William (Kerry) Hersch, Berlin; 11 great-nieces and nephews; great-great-niece; and great-great-nephew.

She was a graduate of Beall High School, Frostburg. She worked for the Grantsville shirt factory for many years and retired from Frostburg State University housekeeping department, was member of Berlin Brethren Church and Shaft Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Family will receive friends at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Tom Sprowls officiating. Per state mandate, masks and social distancing are required.

Interment will be in Greenville Union Cemetery.
