Ridgeley, West Virginia - Allan "Bruce" Deffinbaugh, 71, of Ridgeley, W.Va., passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025.

Born Oct. 20, 1953, in Cumberland, Md., Bruce was the son of the late Allan Deffinbaugh and Mary Jane (Cook) Deffinbaugh. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Diana Snoots and Terry J. Morisi.

Bruce graduated from Allegany High School in 1971. He was a U.S. Army Specialist 4th Class, and a general contractor and master carpenter for Deffinbaugh Construction.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen (King) Deffinbaugh; daughter, Nickie Deffinbaugh and wife Melissa Zarzycki; grandsons, Parker Zarzycki and Johnathan Deffinbaugh; sisters-in-laws, Elaine (Dick) Kaye and Jennene (Brad) Stanley; brothers-in-law, Robert (Nancy) Rohr; Mike (Michelle) King; Mark King, and Robert (Chris) King; and nieces and nephews, Steve (Carla) Snoots, Jonathan (Melissa) Snoots, Lisa (Willie) Sifford, Pete (Rachel) Taschenberger, Jim (Angie) Morris, Alexa, Madilyn and Reagan King, and Christopher, Joshua and Emma Rohr.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.

A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at 2 p.m., with Jonathan Snoots officiating. Friends will also be received one hour prior.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.

Pallbearers are Dave Southerly, Joe Boyle, Forrest Jones, Mike King, Pete Taschenberger and James Morris.
