Cumberland, Maryland - Alma May Harman, 84, of Cumberland, Md., passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Lions Center.
Born June 2, 1941, in Cumberland, Md., Ms. Harman was the daughter of the late Harry Atkinson and Edith (Wilkins) Atkinson. She was the last surviving of 10 children and was also preceded in death by her husband, Geroge L. Harman; and a daughter, Sue Crawford.
A homemaker, Alma attended various churches in the area.
Alma is survived by her sons, James Fischer Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Donald Fischer, and George "Butchie" Harman; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her niece, Linda Ritchie, for all the care, love and assistance given.
Services will be private, and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
