Cumberland, Maryland - Amber Wilson, 59, of Cumberland, died on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on April 10, 1966, she was the daughter of Richard Wilson and the late Glenna Kay (Cross) Brode. She was a graduate of the Fort Hill High School Class of 1984.
She is survived by three children, son John Nelson Thrasher V, of Pittsburgh, daughter Janelle Marie Coffman, of Cumberland, and son Hawke Anthony Coffman, of Cumberland; one grandson, DayVion Antonio Coffman, of Cumberland; three brothers, Richard Craig Wilson, of Gilmore, Kevin Michael Wilson, of Rawlings, and Chad Allen Brode, of LaVale; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Amber was full of life. She loved butterflies, the outdoors and music. She cherished her friends and poured her heart and soul into her children and grandchild. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. To honor her life and legacy, there will be a celebration of life event in the spring.
