Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 9, 1963, Andrea is the daughter of Gladys Faye (Paugh) Tichinel of Keyser and the late Jack Ray Tichinel. She dedicated much of her life to serving others, especially the children in her community. Andrea devoted 20 years of compassionate service through Burlington United Methodist Family Services, where she touched the lives of countless children and families throughout Garrett County. Her kindness, patience and unwavering commitment made a lasting impact on those she helped and worked alongside. She also would happily talk for hours about her hobbies, including everything sci-fi, baking, Bridgerton and Animal Crossing.

Andrea was also known for her strength and resilience. Throughout her life, she fought a difficult battle with several autoimmune diseases, yet she continually overcame the odds with determination and grace.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a proud and devoted mother to Dylan Barnard and wife Kate Riley, Kameron Barnard, and Lakyn Strietbeck and husband Daniel. Andrea's greatest joy was her grandchildren, Elaina Miller, Emersyn Barnard, Orlando Strietbeck, Beric Barnard, Lincoln Strietbeck, Caledon Barnard, Evelyn Farrell and Indigo Strietbeck.

Andrea is also survived by her sisters, Jackie Streng and husband John, and Susan Chaney and husband Rob; and beloved nieces and nephews, Ryan Willis, Kaylene Willis and son Jax Kesner, Erik Willis and daughter Raelyn Willis, Roger Rice Jr., and Octavia "Moxie" Chaney.

Andrea will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to helping children, her incredible strength, and the deep love she had for her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, resilience and compassion will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
