Barbara Lee Hamilton, 82, of Lonaconing, was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Pauline (Springer) Hamilton.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Robert W. Hamilton and his wife Nancy, LaVale. She is also survived by her nephew, Robert C. Hamilton and his wife Kathryn, Chantilly, VA and Carrie Breakey and her husband, Matthew, Morgantown, WV. Barbara is also survived by her great-nephews, Hamilton and Andrew Breakey, and her great niece, Elise Hamilton.

Barbara was a graduate of Valley High School class of 1959. She was a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park in 1963. She lived in Washington, D.C., and worked for the United States Treasury Department. She returned home to Lonaconing and worked for the Clerk of the Court Office for Allegany County.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
