Cresaptown, MD - Barbara Jean (Hahn) Barton, 78, of Cresaptown, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at UPMC - Western Maryland.

Born December 17, 1946, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late David Samuel and Regina Clara (Minke) Hahn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Barry Jay Barton, Sr.; her children, Wendy M. Barton and Barry Jay Barton, Jr.; and her sister, Mary Regina Hahn.

Barbara was 1966 graduate of Allegany High School. She ran a daycare in her home until 2015. Barbara was a long term member of the Eagles 2883 Ladies Auxiliary.

Barbara is survived by her grandchildren, Jared Robert Barton (Becca) and Victoria Wendi Miller (Dylan); great-granddaughter, Evelyn Jean Miller; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Sue Barton and two close friends, Linda and Donna Bowman.

Interment will be private in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

She will be buried with her husband and children.

In lieu of flowers, contributions be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105in honor of Barbara's memory.
