Little Orleans, Maryland - Betty Jean Mann, 89, of Little Orleans, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland.

Born May 29, 1931, in Buck Valley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Rhesa T. and Estella (Beatty) Bowman; and the widow of Marshall Thomas Mann Jr. who passed away May 9, 2006.

She attended Cumberland Mountain Top Holiness Church and Memorial Heights Baptist Church, both in Cumberland.

She was a 1950 graduate of Flintstone High School.

She loved to bake cookies and pies.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Twigg, of Cumberland; two sons, Marshall "Tommy" Mann lll and wife, Debbie, of Hagerstown, and Wayne R. Droll and wife, Linda, of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Kim Swope and husband, Ryan, Kristine Becker and husband, Bill, Andrew Droll and wife, Tiffany, and Lindsay Lindsay and husband, David; 17 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Jack Bowman, of Flintstone, Paul Bowman, of Little Orleans, and Harold Bowman and wife, Diana, of Hancock.

Services will be held at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St., Hancock, Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wayne R. Droll officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Covid-19 regulations must be observed at the services.

Burial will follow in Piney Plains Methodist Cemetery, Little Orleans.
