Betty Jean Powers, 74, of Paw Paw, W.Va., passed away Thursday May 6, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born on Feb. 21, 1947, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Edith Twigg Snyder.
Betty was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She attended Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Paw Paw.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis K. Powers; two daughters, Mitsi Fishel, of Paw Paw, and Stacey Abe, of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; sister, Martha Parker, of Oldtown; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church Sunday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw, on Monday, May 10, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Earl Travis officiating.
Interment will follow in Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.
