Cumberland, MD - Bonnie Eileen Bloss, 79, of Cumberland, Md., passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at UPMC-Western Maryland.

Born October 22, 1945 in Cumberland, Md., Ms. Bloss was the daughter of the late Berlin Dayton Hedrick and Ruth Elizabeth (Twigg) Hedrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Benjamin Bloss; her brothers, Eddie and Ronnie Hedrick; and a sister, Karla Steele.

Bonnie retired from the Family Dollar Store at White Oaks with 25 years of service and was a duckpin bowler for many years.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Dale Bloss and wife Becky Rice; Deanna Bloss; and Dawn Tyler; her siblings, Evelyn Matheson, Royce Hedrick, Larry Hedrick, Danny Hedrick and wife Trellis; and Carolyn Wilson and husband Richard. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Connor, Shauntay Weisenmiller, Tristen Dorsey, Braydn Tyler, Brielle Tyler; her great grandchildren, Hope Tomczewski, Ophelia and Leila Weisenmiller, and Camden Connor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her special friend, Fred Hall; her special friends who have been by her side for the past 5 years, Julie Davis and Barbara Rockwell Logsdon; and her canine companion, Zeus.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating.

Interment will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Perez, and to her daughter, Deanna, who has taken amazing care of her mom for the last 5 years.
