LaVale, Maryland - Bonnie Gail Plummer, 71, of LaVale, Md., passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Devlin Manor Health Care Center.

Born September 24, 1953, in Cumberland, Md., Ms. Plummer was the daughter of the late Francis Koontz and Catherine (McKenzie) Koontz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Plummer; a favorite aunt, Helen Gorsuch; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Bonnie was a graduate of Allegany High School Class of 1972 and was a former of employee of 16 Plus, Bon-Ton, and retired from Wal-Mart with 18 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mountains Parish. Although Bonnie had no children of her own, she was like a mom to many. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart.

Bonnie is survived by her neighbors and close friends who were like family to her, Stacy Miller and husband Randy; and their children who were also her godchildren, Krysten and Ryan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, who were her godchildren, Kristie (Bowen) McCalla, Breann Bowen, and Joseph "JC" McKenzie; as well as numerous cousins and close friends.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to the LaVale Fire Department, 421 National Highway, LaVale, MD 21502 or to a charity of choice.
