Carol Elaine Doman, 83, of Bedford, Pa., peacefully, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at The Madison Center, in Morgantown, W.Va., surrounded by family and friends.

She was born May 21, 1940, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Herbert H. and Zelda H. (Loy) Schad. She was also preceded, in death, by her husband, Robert Gary Doman, Sr.; two brothers, Herbert Schad, Jr., and Ronald Schad.

Mrs. Doman was a dedicated homemaker, an active Christian, and she loved the Lord. When her sons were growing up, she loved to attend their sporting events. Gardening was a passion for Mrs. Doman, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren, which gave her great joy.

She was survived by two sons, Michael Scott Doman, and wife, Sheri, of Morgantown, and Robert Gary Doman, Jr., of Petersburg; grandchildren, Seth R. Doman and Iann T. Doman, both of Rio, and Jordan M. Branham, of Morgantown; and special friend, Melissa Smouse.

The family would like to thank friends, and family, for all their support during her illness, and a huge "Thank You," to everyone, at The Madison Center, for going above and beyond, in their care for Mrs. Doman.

According to her wishes, Hastings Funeral Home is entrusted with cremation arrangements, and there will be no services, at this time.
