Cumberland, Maryland - CUMBERLAND [mdash] Carole Jane Blowe, 83, of Cumberland, Md., passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Born May 5, 1942, in Cumberland, Md., Carole was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Bowie, and Marian (Lytle) Bowie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Blowe, Jr.; her siblings, Ronald H. Lytle, Nathaniel Bowie, Jr., Rose Marie Jackson, Gayle Bowie, and Major "Buddy" Bowie.

Carole Jane attended Allegany High School and worked at Walmart. She loved attending the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob Church, and African Methodist Episcopal Church for years.

Carole Jane is survived by her children, Bobbi Jane Peck, and Robert Thomas Peck, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Peck Brown (Brodis); Robert Thomas Peck, III (Ruth); and Savannah Peck; her sister, Marjorie Lytle Fisher; her four great grandchildren; and her devoted friend, Rosalie "Winkie" Lopez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., with Elder Charles Washington, Jr. officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Shenandoah Memorial Park 1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA, 22602 on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 2 p.m., with Paster Cheryl Pettus officiating.
