Carolean Juanita "Carol" Parsons, age 76 of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024.

Born August 2, 1947 in Fort Ashby, she was the daughter of the late George R. Garland and Wilma J. (Adams) Garland. Besides her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brothers, Earl and Pepper Garland.

Carol is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eddie Parsons of Springfield; her three daughters, Pam Reed (Josh) of Dallas, TX, Trina Forrest (PJ) of St. Inigoes, MD, and Melissa Davis (Brian) of Augusta; her four grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany, Blake, and Madison; and by her four great grandchildren, Mason, James, Raelynn, and Chase.

Carol retired from the First National Bank of Romney after many years of service.

The family wishes to send sincere gratitude for all of the prayers.
