Frostburg, MD - Carolyn Lee Barmoy, 80, of Frostburg, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, in Cumberland, surrounded by her family.

Carolyn was born on July 27, 1945, to the late Anna (Jeffries) and Walter "BlueJay" Minnick.

Carolyn was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She never met a stranger and enjoyed lending a helping hand. Spending time in the garden, planting flowers and adoring the birds around her were always her enjoyment. Carolyn was a member of The Frostburg House and Garden Club.

Surviving her are her sisters, Patricia Stevens (John, deceased) and Deborah Brodbeck (John); sons, Doug Barmoy (Kristin), Shawn Barmoy (Deborah); daughter, Dawn Barmoy; grandchildren, Kyle Barmoy (Kacey), Kara Roberts (Keith), Kris Barmoy (Kayla), Chase Barmoy (Christine), Nick Barmoy, Kalee Ritchie (Trevor), Bryson Sivic, Reghan Sivic; great-grandchildren, Brea Roberts, Brooke Roberts, Chase "CJ" Barmoy, Joseph Barmoy, Timothy Barmoy and Atlee Ritchie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD, on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services at the funeral home will be on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jim Jeffries officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Frostburg Memorial Park.
