She enjoyed gardening, yard sales, auctions, family reunions, Bingo, and fellowship with her friends and family.
Mrs. Griffith is survived by her children, Carl Mike Griffith of Denton, Texas, and Carlene Sue Colyer and her husband Ron of Pace, Fla.; her brother, Charles Twigg of Pinto, Md.; her grandchildren, April Griffith, Kelly Ruyter and husband Ray, and Andrew Colyer. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are beloved sisters-in-law, Pat Twigg of Bedford, Pa., and Ellen Twigg of Cumberland.
Charlene suffered from severe arthritis for many years and in her generous spirit, decided long ago to donate her body to medical education and research. She was blessed by her physicians who cared and prayed for her: Dr. Steve Lenga, Nurse Lori, Dr. Ken Garrett, Dr. James Fleischhauer, Dr. Brian Kirby, Dr. Jamal Joudeh and RN Mika Summers, her home health care nurse.
