Frostburg, MD - FROSTBURG [mdash] Charles "Chuck" William Albright of Frostburg, 85, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Mountain City Nursing and Rehab.
He was born in Mt. Savage at home. He was the son of the late Charles Levi Albright, and the late Zella Mae (Merrill) Albright. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Joanie (Michaels) Albright; and daughter-in-law Susan Squire-Albright, in 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Wellings) Albright; his son, Stephen Albright; three stepsons, William Wellings and wife, Tammy; Floyd Wellings and wife, Kelly; James Wellings and wife, Lynn.
Charles adored all their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1960. He then served our country in the active reserves in the Marines until 1966.
He worked at the Kelly Springfield Company for 25 years until they closed. He later retired from Frostburg State University.
Per Charles's request, he will be cremated and a private memorial service with his family will be held at a later date, and he will be buried at St. Michael's Cemetery.
