Westminster, MD - Charles "Bob" Robert Hackett, 74, of Westminster, Md., passed away on March 26, 2026 at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born on August 7, 1951 in Cumberland, Md., Bob was the son of the late Raymond and Vera (Foreman) Hackett. He is also predeceased by sister, Yvonne Folk.

Bob had a lifelong love of cars and took great pride in working on them. He enjoyed spending time with friends, especially heading out to car shows and making the annual trip to York, Pa. Bob was always willing to lend a hand, and you could count on him to help with any car trouble.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sally Hackett; brothers, Ray and Jim Shaffer; cousin, Merle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In accordance with his wishes, Bob will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
