Martinsburg - Charles Harmon Griffith, 78, of Martinsburg, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, at his home.
Born Sept. 4, 1946, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Carl Griffith and Lilian Bailey Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Walker Griffith.
Charles graduated from Fort Hill High School, class of 1964. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and was a lifelong Fort Hill football fan.
Charles is survived by his sons, Carl Griffith, Blandon Griffith (Stacey), and Darren Griffith (Erin); two grandchildren, Noah James, and Caitlyn Paige Ramsey (Kelby); and one great-grandchild, Lochlyn.
Family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Saint Leo Catholic Church, with Father Alfred Obiudu officiating.
Entombment will be in the Saint Leo Mausoleum.
