Hyndman, PA - Danny E. Logsdon, 49, Hyndman, passed away at home after a very hard fought battle with cancer on June 11, 2026. Born August 17, 1976, to Melvin and Virginia (Leister) Logsdon.

Danny was survived by his loving wife, Kelly (Gooden) Logsdon; son, Andrew Croston; parents, Melvin (Virginia) Logsdon; sister, Colletta Miller (Douglas); nieces, Kaylee Fazenbaker (Shawn), Laken Miller (Nate Kovach); sister-in-law, Mary Cannon (Michael); mother in-law, Mary Gooden, and numerous cousins. Also survived by his dog, Jax and cats, Koters, Tameeka, and Biz.

Danny graduated from Hyndman High School in 1994. Then went on to graduate from Allegany Community College with an associate degree. He worked at Amcor (Berry Plastics) for many years. He was a member of the Wills Mountain Church of Christ; he also belonged to the Wills Mountain Gun Club.

Dan was a beloved husband, son, father, brother and uncle. He had a very strong faith in God. He loved to hunt and watch Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, collected guns and was a die-hard Ford fan. He was a great handyman and there was not anything he could not fix.

Family will receive friends, Tuesday June 16, 2026 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 146 Clarence Street, Hyndman, PA. 15545. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Wills Mountain Church of Christ, 1370 Gooseberry Ave., Hyndman, PA 15545. Family would like to thank Oncology department at UPMC Western Maryland especially DR. Zaman, and his nurses, Jennifer and Sara. Arrangements entrusted to the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
