Deborah Lee Beeman
BARTON - Deborah Lee Beeman, 72, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020.
Born Jan. 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Short and Joanna Kay (Timbrook) Short.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dale Beeman; son, Tim Beeman and wife, Donna, of Lonaconing, and their children, Lawren Beeman, Lonaconing, and Alex Beeman, Durham, N.C.; son, Steve Beeman and wife, Cindy, of LaVale, and their children, Adam Beeman and Mason Beeman, both at home; sister, Sue Henry, Barton; and brother, Ronnie Staggs, Keyser, W.Va.; along with numerous other family members and close, special friends.
Debbie was a graduate of Keyser High School. She was a full-time wife and mother for many years. In 1991, she began working in the Allegany County Public School system. By 2004, she resigned from her position as a speech assistant to become a successful, full-time grandma.
She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Frostburg and loved the Bible truths she learned. She looked forward to the hope of Paradise Earth, and spoke to people often about the Bible's message. Debbie loved her family and found joy and comfort in the simple beauty of fresh flowers, her garden, and the sounds of birds she heard as she sat on her back-porch swing.
Debbie touched the lives of many people. Her loving and caring personality will truly be missed by all.
The Beeman family would like to extend a very special thanks to Dr. Qamar Zaman for his understanding and kindness during Debbie's illness.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Boal Memorial Chapel, in Barton.
A brief memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m.
All friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration dinner to be held at the lower LaVale Fire Hall at 5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Schwab Cancer Center, 12500 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.

I am so sorry to see this. I loved working with her. I can still see her talking to me in the faculty room at Cash Valley, telling me she was retiring to watch her grandchild!
