Delaney was a student at Frankfort Middle School, where she had been in the school choir. She was so well loved and cared for by the students and staff at each school she attended.
She belonged to the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren.
Since 2011, Delaney loved spending time at Spring Gap Farms where she was able to ride "Foalie." Her other favorite place was the beach. She also enjoyed food, especially Castiglia's spaghetti, Chick-Fil-A nuggets, pizza, and ice cream sundaes. Being outside, socializing and listening to music made her happy.

Our daughter, Delaney, brought more inspiration in her 15 years than most do in a life-time. Delaney was born with Juvenile Batten Disease, but did not show signs of the terminal neurodegenerative disease until she was 4 and a half years old. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the Batten Disease Support Research Association, 2780 Airport Drive, Suite 342, Columbus, OH 43219 or to the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 50221, Austin, TX 78763.
