Diana Lee Beverlin
Diana Lee Beverlin, 66, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at her niece's home.
Born March 9, 1953, in Cumberland, Mrs. Beverlin was the daughter of the late William Thomas Allee and Thelma Harriet (Morral) Allee.
A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1971, Diana graduated from Frostburg State University where she held a master's degree in Special Education, and retired from Allegany County Board of Education with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church where she was very active and sang in the choir. Diana was also a member of the Allegany County Democratic Committee and past president of the Jaycees.
Diana is survived by her sisters, Carole Allee, Thelma "Lynn" Marshall, and Barbara Millholland and husband, George; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Martha McGill officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church Lunch Program, 16 Washington St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Rachel Zadik, her great-niece, for all the love given to Diana.
