Don Allen Quinn
WESTERNPORT - Don Allen Quinn, 70, of Westernport, passed away on Jan. 10, 2020.
Born Oct. 8, 1949, he was the son of the late James Arthur and Betty (Rizer) Quinn.
Don retired from Garrett County Department of Social Services with 30 years of service. He was a past grand commander and member of Wamba Caravan 89, past Region 3 secretery, past grand knight of Piedmont Council K of C, and a member of the Cumberland K of C 586. He was also a past president and district director of the Upper Potomac Jaycees and lifetime Jaycees MD Militia. Don was a former football coach at Bishop Walsh and Westmar High School.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Quinn; his children, Don Scott Quinn and Jennifer Cameron and husband, Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Quinn, Cayenne Cameron, River Cameron; his brother, Van Quinn and wife, Mary Lee; his sister, Linda Schwanke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don is survived by his special friends, Charles and Debra Bielanski; and his former daughter-in-law, Maria Quinn.
Family and friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday, Jan. 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. At 8 p.m., there will be a Crescent Ceremony presented by the Wamba Caravan 89, followed by the Cumberland K of C 586 memorial service.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 13th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church-Divine Mercy Parish with Father Eric Gauchat as celebrant and Deacon Harold Bradley.
Interment will be at St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport.
Pallbearers will be Jayme Bradley, Josh Bradley, Ron Grove, Denny McCormick, Tom McIntyre, Kevin Quinn and Kris Quinn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Peter's Bereavement Committee, the Mineral County Special Olympics or the Hooley Plunge. Donations may be brought to the funeral home for disbursement.

I have many good memories of the times that I spent with Don being friends and practicing and playing football at Beall high school. I know that you are with God right now. Rest in peace my good friend. I will miss you.

I worked with Don for many years while he was employed with Department of Social Services. He will always be remembered for his jovial personality. The love he had for his family was apparent in every conversation. My sincere sympathy for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
