I think that Don is the same man that saved my fathers life years ago, my father and another man was driving a Studibaker car which hit the bridge and through my dad into the water and I believe that it was Don who pulled him out, Don was fishing that night. My condolences to your family, I have thought of Don many times through my life, I don't recall exactly what year that was, Don was a young man or maybe even a teenager at that time.

Some people just do more in life than others..and do it quietly. Don was such a man. I met him when he was working "behind the scenes" trying to get cellphone service for the Paw Paw area. The Tower that stands near his home, is the result of his work. He made hundreds of calls to the "powers that be", Verizon, and Liberty Tower...and we got a tower. I got to know him pretty well..and when the tower finally was "up" ..I went to him..and, his only comment was that , "he was glad for the people of Paw Paw". I'm not even sure he used a cellphone..but because of him..I can! Thank you, Donald. God Speed, my friend.....
