Chaneysville, PA - Dorothy Y. (Cessna) Yokum, 92, of Chaneysville, Pa., passed away on April 9, 2026 at the Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, Md. Born July 29, 1933, in Pa., to the late Wilbur and Ethel (O'Neal) Cessna.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard Dale Yokum; siblings, Wilbur Cessna, Jr. and wife Emma Jean, Betty Shriver and husband William, Mabel Bible and husband Merle, Carl Cessna, Clifford Cessna, Dennis Cessna, and David Cessna; sister in law, Donna Cessna; and daughter in law, Sharon Yokum.

Dorothy was a proud homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, sewing, puzzles, traveling with her husband, and attending El Bethel Assembly of God. Above all else, Dorothy loved spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Wanda Clark and Rick, Sharon Clark and Paul III, and Jill Cadotte and David; sons, Bill Yokum, Sam Yokum and Josephine; brother, Donald Cessna; sister in laws, Virginia Cessna, Midge Cessna, Judy Cessna, Shelva Dean Ott, and Bonnie Yokum; grandchildren, Rickey, Lindsay, Natalie, Eric, Keith, Ian, Shannon, Beckie, Devany, Paul, Wesley, Amber, Wyatt, Clinton, and Dale; also survived by numerous, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Hwy, Cresaptown, MD 21502 on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at El-Bethel Assembly of God, 3362 Ragged Mtn. Rd, Clearville, PA, 15535 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Vincent Smith officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in El-Bethel Assembly of God Cemetery.
