MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Earl Edward Werner, 81, Meyersdale, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Somerset In Touch Hospice.
Born in Meyersdale, Oct. 28, 1935, to the late Clarence and Edna (Schram) Werner. Preceded in death by brothers, George Albert Hochard and Bert Werner; sister, Mary Murray.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose (Crissey) Werner; children, Lee E. Werner of Meyersdale and Brenda Myers of Grantsville; grandchildren, James T. Walker of Central City, Leo Morocco of Eckhart, and Tara Werner of Frostburg; sister, Margie Shuck of Meyersdale; brother, Harry Werner of Salisbury.
Earl retired from the Cement Masons Local 526. Earl also served in the United States Army.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 15, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m. the funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home with Bishop Bill Durstine officiating.
