HAGERSTOWN - Earlene Grim Fahey, age 86, passed away at Doey's House, in Hagerstown, on Monday, Oct. 19,2020, following a long and fulfilling life.

Earlene is survived by her four children, Patricia Davis, David Fahey (Kristin), Michael Fahey and Jim Fahey (Sue); brother-in-law, John Moorhead; along with 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and cousin, Tom Jobe (Alice).

Earlene is predeceased by her husband, Jim Fahey; and her daughter, Susan Moorhead; and grandson, Patrick Davis.

Earlene was born June 13, 1934, in Winchester, Va., to the late Earl and Burnis Funkhouser Grim Betts. She was a loving, dedicated and caring mother and friend to many and was known for her beautiful coordinated stylish appearance. Earlene was a member of the Fountain Head Country Club Ladies nine and 18-hole group, Women's Club of Hagerstown, March of Dimes, served on various PTA groups and assisted in fundraising fashion shows. Earlene was also a Washington County Hospital volunteer for many years. Earlene was a lifelong member of First Christian Church of Hagerstown.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at First Christian Church of Hagerstown, 1345 Potomac Ave., Hagerstown.
