Cumberland, MD - CUMBERLAND [mdash] Edna Virginia (Mara) Pisarcik, 99, of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at UPMC - WM.

Born February 13, 1926, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Vederine and Violet (Wong) Mara. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Hordeman; second husband, Jacob "Jake" Pisarcik; daughter, Leona M. Dyche; five brothers; two sisters; son-in-law, Bill Rollins; and brother-in-law, Wilbert Baptiste.

Edna was a member of SS Peter Paul Catholic Church, Baltimore Pike Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years, and a life-member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mountains Parish.

She was a member of the Never Too Late Dancers for 20 years. This group entertains at area nursing homes and many other events. The dancers have become Edna's second family, including Nancy Lepley, the director.

Edna is survived by son, Mark Hordeman; daughter, Carole Rollins; three grandchildren, Brian Rollins; Marisa Mesi and husband, Tony; and Scott Fertig; sister, Janet Baptiste; step-sister, residing in Honolulu, Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Summer, Ronan, Raiden, Sierra, and Deacon; several nieces and nephews; many special friends, including Sylvia Shipley and Barb De Moss.

Visitation will be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Shrine of SS Peter and Paul, 125 Fayette Street, Cumberland, MD on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at 1 p.m.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baltimore Pike Volunteer Fire Department at 15010 Baltimore Pike NE, Cumberland, MD 21502, or St. Anthony's Place at 300 East Oldtown Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.
