FLINTSTONE - Edward "Eddie" Vernon Northcraft, 76, of Flintstone, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born July 30, 1943, in Cumberland, Mr. Northcraft was the son of the late Vernon "Mike" Northcraft and Bridget (Curran) Northcraft, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
A graduate of Southern Fulton High School, Class of 1963, Eddie was a retired Lineman from Atlantic Broadband with 36 years of service. He attended the Buck Valley Christian Church. Eddie loved hunting, gardening, and helping on the family farm. Eddie enjoyed spending time with is family, especially with his son and grandson. He was an amazing man who would help anyone. He was not only a great hunting partner with his grandson, Ben, but also just being able to share so many special memories that will now live on.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly (Cupp) Northcraft; his son, Shawn Northcraft and wife, Jennifer; his grandson, Ben Northcraft; as well as numerous cousins and many friends.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Buck Valley Christian Church on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at 12:00 noon with Pastor Bill Croteau officiating. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Fairview Christian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Buck Valley Christian Church, 2281 Harmonia Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267.
