Corriganville, MD - Anderson, Ellen V., 95, Corriganville, passed away Oct. 27, 2025. Born Nov. 11, 1929, to the late Carl and Anna (Delbrook) Witt. Also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert C. Anderson "Bob"; sisters, Mary Susan Diehl, Ruthie Cliffton; brother, Lester Witt.

Ellen is survived by her son, Robert (Connie) Anderson; sisters, Kathleen Beal and Carrie (John Thomas) Wells; brother, Leroy Witt; grandchildren, Todd (Evelyn) Anderson, Kindra (Erik) Bohrer, Brett (Rikki) Anderson; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a dedicated homemaker and took pride in her home. She enjoyed her time spent traveling in their Hi-Lo trailer to Myrtle Beach S.C., Leesburg in Florida in the winter, plus Scottyland in Somerset during the summer. The family would like to give an expression of gratitude to her sister Kathleen and nephew Dwayne Diehl during her time of medical needs.

Family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, PA 15545.
