Frostburg, MD - FROSTBURG [mdash] Ellen Norene (Rafferty) Beachy, 85, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born in Frostburg on Feb. 19, 1940, she was the daughter of Charles Patrick and Nora Ellen (Glotfelty) Rafferty. She was also preceded in by her husband, Ronald Lee Beachy; brothers, Robert and Jimmy Rafferty; and sister, Hilda Duncan.
Ellen was a homemaker. "She was beloved by and will be greatly missed."
Survived by her son, Ronald Steven Beachy, and wife, Thanaporn Apiwatthananukul; daughter, Tammy Louise Gunter; grandchildren, Jerry Gunter, Daniel Gunter, Jennifer Gunter, Ronnie Trachoo, Emily Trachoo; and brother, John Rafferty, and wife, Debbie.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
