GERRARDSTOWN, W.Va. - Ernest Bennett "Bud" Billmeyer Jr., 79, of Gerrardstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born Oct. 10, 1940, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Ernest Bennett Billmeyer and late Jaunice Nadine Jackson Billmeyer; and brother of the late Carole Nadine James.
Ernest was a veteran and proudly served in the US Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Laureen Virginia Mullaney Billmeyer; and his children, daughter, Tamara McCauley; and son, Ernest Russell "Rusty" Billmeyer; his sister, Annafaye Catherine Hare, of Ridgeley, W.Va., and Cynthia Ann Corley and husband, David Corley, of Corriganville.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
