Cumberland, Maryland - Eugenio "Geno" Squillari, 90, of Cumberland, Md., passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at his home.

Born April 3, 1935 in Mombercelli, Italy, Mr. Squillari was the son of the late Gulio and Marjorina Squillari.

At the age of 16, Geno came from Italy and spoke no English. He was a graduate of LaSalle High School Class of 1956 and was a tank operator in the United States Army serving from 1959-1961. He was the proud owner of Gene's Family Restaurant for 50 years. He devoted his life to the restaurant and to the trouble makers in Bel Air he was known as "Little Mafia" because he was known to pack a pistol and have guns in the kitchen of the restaurant.

Geno is survived by his sons, Rik Squillari and Wayne Squillari; and a sister, Rosana Blair; as well as his ex-wife, Rose Ann Squillari, who remained great friends over the years.

Geno would not want anyone to shed tears over the loss of his life but celebrate his life!

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Deacon Ryan Schmeltzer officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans' Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.
