Gilda Joy Edwards (Crane) (Jill) Obituary
Myrtle Beach, SC - Jill was born on Sept. 26, 1947, to William and Margaret Louise Crane of Cumberland, Md., and passed away at her home in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on May 13, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Sam Hill of Ridgeley, W.Va.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Edwards; and son, Aaron Edwards; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Joyce Omps, Gary and Connie Edwards, and Karen Parish Edwards; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Fort Hill High School in 1965, she lived and worked in Fort Ashby, W.Va., for 40 years before moving to Myrtle Beach.
Jill was energetic and had an unforgettable sense of humor, and she never met a stranger. She will forever be missed by her friends and family.
At Jill's request, she was cremated and requested no memorial service.
