Gladys L. Nicklow, 101, of Bedford, Pa., died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on July 28, 1920, in Addison, a daughter of the late Lewis E. and Agnes Romaine (Bowser) Eberhart Sr. She married Robert M. Nicklow, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1983.
She is survived by two nephews, Greg Eberhart, widower of Teri, and Randy Eberhart and wife, Susan, both of Bedford; two great-nieces, Heather A. Eberhart and wife, Leslie, of Bedford, and Elicia M. Eberhart and wife, Karyn, of Frederick; and three great-great-nieces, Arden, Norah, and Tegan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Nicola; and a brother, Lewis Eberhart Jr. and his wife, Shirley.
In her younger years, Gladys worked as a nurse for Dr. Price in Confluence. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and socializing with her friends at Starner Hill Apartments in Grantsville.
The family is grateful for the care and friendship the staff at Donahoe Manor afforded Gladys during her time there.
Funeral services will be private.
