Cambridge, MD - Gloria Hanft, formerly of Cumberland, passed into glory on Feb. 22, 2026.
She was born in Cumberland to John Dixon and Desta Willison. She attended Allegany High and ACC.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell; her brother, Richard Dixon; and her sister, Nancy Ocheltree.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth, Rock, Lawrence, Bruce, Gloria Mellon and Candice Hoffman; as well as 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing and funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Wounded Warrior Project.
