Cumberland, MD - Henry "Hank" Ray Novack, 77, of Cumberland, died Oct. 29, 2025, at Cumberland Healthcare Center.
Born April 3, 1948, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late John Barnard Novack and Marion Delores (Valentine) Novack Platter.
He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert A. Platter.
Hank was a graduate of Allegany High School.
He had been a master carpenter, working in various parts of the country.
Even in his spare time, Hank loved building - anything that involved tools!
He belonged to Davis Memorial Global Methodist Church.
Survivors include his partner, Kate Parks; and her sons, Jeffrey Parks, Roger Parks and Michael Parks. There are also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service at Davis Memorial Global Church will be held at a later date.
