Cumberland, MD - Inez L. Neff, 93, rejoined her husband and met her Lord and Savior on June 30, 2026 at the Lions Centers in Cumberland, MD.

She was born November 19, 1932 in Cumberland, MD to the late John H. and Ruth E. (Knippenberg) McKenney Sr.. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leon George Neff Sr.; a sister, Louise C. McKenney; and six brothers, John, James, Ronald, Robert, Raymond, and Henry McKenney; she was the last member of her immediate family.

Inez graduated from Fort Hill High School, and remained a diehard fan her entire life. She then married her childhood best friend and provided an excellent home for him and her sons. She enjoyed her rose garden out back, cooking meals, crocheting, and everyone knew not to disturb her while watching football especially Baltimore and Dallas. Inez's faith was very important to her and she was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Surviving are her two sons, Leon George Neff Jr. and fiancé Wendy and David W. Neff and wife Lisa; grandchildren, David W. Neff Jr (Jessica), Trevor Neff, Keon Neff, Chloe Baker (Jake), and Devyn Neff; two great-grandchildren, Cady and Mason; a very special niece, Ruth Summerfield; and her extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 8th at 1:30pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 13800 Bedford Rd NE, Cumberland, MD with Pastor Troy Knippenberg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions asked to be directed to Second Baptist Church, Cumberland, MD.
