James Wesley "Jim" Dowden Jr., of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was awaiting a liver transplant.
Born June 3, 1956, Jim was the son of the late James Wesley Dowden Sr. and Camillia (Twigg) Dowden. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Stonestreet.
Jim is survived by his partner, Jonathon Jacks; his sisters, Gale Graham (Sam), of Fredericksburg, Va., Valerie Greise, of Cumberland, and Angela Giconi (Ray), of Oakland; and a brother Eric S. Dowden (Shawn), of Youngstown, Ohio.
As per Jim's request his body was cremated.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
