Bloomington, Maryland - Jeanne Cavey, 62, of Bloomington, passed away on Dec. 4, 2025.

Born June 17, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Dorothy (Poland) Wilcox. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Ann Fulk.

Jeanne was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the North Glade Homemakers. She thought the world of the women in the group and cherished the friendships she made over the years. She loved her animals, especially her dog Journey, and the many animals she fed that visited the back porch — like the opossums with their pink ears and fat bottoms.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Robert Cavey; her children, Travis Wilcox and wife Leslie, Alisha Bowman, Trisha Bowman and husband Kevin, and Nikki Cavey and husband Daniel.

Jeanne is also survived by her siblings, Louella Friend and husband Edwin, Joyce Paugh and husband Jimmy, her twin sister, Janie Paugh, and Thomas Wilcox and wife Annabelle; her grandchildren, Garrett Duckworth Jr and partner Kassidy, Leah Duckworth and partner Bryer, Tyson Alt, Kiersten Alt, Lily Dykes, Gwyneth Dykes, Darla Dykes; great-grandchildren, Weston Duckworth, Wyatt Duckworth and Jed Metheney; and a good friend and previous husband, Russell Bowman.
