Mr. Jeffrey A. Bauman, 48, of Bedford, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Bauman was born in Cumberland on Aug. 14, 1969, the son of the late Robert Leo Bauman and Stella M. (Monnett) Bauman-Neilson, who survives him of Cumberland. On Sept. 5, 2008, he married Melissa J. (Lake) Bauman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother and daughter, Amber, wife of Dewey Wilt, Myersdale; son, Michael Hoover, Berlin; daughter, Katelyn Hoover, Addison; sister, Debbie, wife of Randy Smith, Bedford; brother, Steve Bauman, Cumberland; brother, Mike, husband of Michelle (Feathers) Bauman, Claysburg; sister, Kimberly, wife of Danny Morlen, Wiley Ford, W.Va. He is also survived by four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeff was a member of the Wolfsburg United Methodist Church. He was employed as a press operator a Kennametal in Bedford. Jeff was a member of the Schellsburg VFW, the Central City Sportsman Club and the Cairnbrook Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drinking beer, his two dogs, Puddin and Lovey, and spending time with his family.

Jeff was a wonderful husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is going to be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
