Jennie Lee Winebrenner Obituary

Frostburg, MD - Jennie Lee (Emmart) Winebrenner, 92, of Frostburg, passed away peacefully at UPMC Western Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, surrounded by her children.

She was born Dec. 8, 1932, to the late Jennie (Pfaff) and Bruce Emmart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. "Spoon" Winebrenner Jr.; brother, Thomas Emmart; and son-in-law, Gary Seib.

Jennie was a retired homemaker and loved spending her time in the activities department during her stay at Mountain City Rehab Center.

Surviving are her children, Doug Winebrenner and wife Rhonda, Randy Winebrenner and wife Peggy, Lisa Seib and Tammy Horner; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Emmart and wife Judy; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy "Dottie" Emmart.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, MD, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. George Harpold.

A private family inurnment will be in Rocky Gap Cemetery.
