Jille Ann Crowe
CUMBERLAND - Jille Ann Crowe, 54, of Cumberland, went to meet her Savior on Feb. 24, 2020, surrounded by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Robert and Irene Klavuhn; and her precious nephew, Austen Crowe, in heaven.
Jille is survived by her mother, Joyce (Klavuhn) Johnson; her supportive, caring brother, John Crowe and wife, Michele; brother and best friend, Jason Crowe; her dearest niece, Allyson Crowe; her aunt, Iris Glenn; and her stepfather, Charlie Johnson and wife, MaryAnn.
Jille graduated, with honors, from the mental health program at ACM. Volunteering as a CPR instructor at the American Red Cross, Jille loved helping others. She was fluent in sign language and was employed at United Cerebral Palsy for 15 years as the director of residential living. Miss Crowe later telecommuted for InfoMed of Annapolis for 11 years in the medical insurance field.
It was obvious when she added the "E" to her name that Jille wanted to stand out in her own way, even though she was shy. Her vibrant dresses, jewelry, and a flower in her hair said what she couldn't. An avid reader with a brilliant mind, she was fascinated with space exploration. She was multitalented and would spend hours cooking or doing crafts. Jille and her mom spent weekends scrapbooking and crafting together. Jille was happiest when she was being creative.
She was an introvert by nature, but she loved her friends. Donna, Connie, Lisa, and Rick were blessed with her friendship for over 20 years. Kymberly, Fred, Vicki, and Steve were precious friends to her.
The joy and light of Jille's life were her niece and nephew, Ally and Austen. Meme loves you.
The Crowe family would like to thank the staff at UPMC Western Maryland for their excellent care. The nursing staff of 7 South treated Jille with immeasurable tenderness and compassion that will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following visitation at noon with Pastor B. Gene Cecil officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Condolences for the family may be left at www.ScarpelliFH.com.
