Ridgeley, WV - JoAnn Lundy, 92, of Furnace Acres, died Friday, April 18, 2025, at her home.

Born April 27, 1932, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John L. Bridges and Mamie (Maine) Bridges.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Bud" Lundy; siblings, Helen and John Bridges, Jr.; and her beloved cat, Cali.

JoAnn spent her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring from Cape Coral Hospital. She briefly worked locally at Lion's Manor.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, LaVale, and McKinley Chapter #12, O.E.S.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Denise Schneider and husband Donnie, John Lundy, and Vicki Corbin and husband Sandy; grandchildren, Jason Schneider, Travis Schneider and wife April, Michael Corbin and wife Katie, and Dawn Corbin; great-grandchildren, Jason S. Schneider, Lily Corbin, Evie Corbin, David Corbin, Sylvie Corbin, Audrey Corbin, Daniel Schneider, and Thomas Schneider; and special friends, Patty and Denny Corwell, and Carol and Bill Elliott.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Jewell officiating.

Entombment will be in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, Fla.
